July 3, 2013 Press Releases

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA–(Marketwired – Jul 3, 2013) – Triton Emission Solutions Inc. (“Triton Emission Solutions”) (SHPR) has received multiple requests for ship installation surveys for its DSOX-15 Fuel Scrubber. The PST-DSOX Fuel Scrubber System represents the latest solution in the battle to reduce exhaust emissions in the maritime industry. It also affords a substantial reduction in the cost of meeting the new exhaust emission regulations scheduled to take effect in 2015. After receiving the survey requests, Mr. Norling commented, “I was very encouraged by the response to our latest technology presentations. The survey requests represent the first step in the DNV and Lloyd’s Register testing and certification processes.”

DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is one of the world’s leading classification societies. DNV assists customers within the maritime industry to manage their risk in all phases of a ship’s life, through ship classification, fuel testing and a range of technical business risk, environmental and competency-related services.

The Lloyd’s Register Group is a maritime classification society and independent risk management organization providing risk assessment and mitigation services and management systems certification. Historically, as Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, it was a specifically maritime organization. During the late 20th century, it diversified into other industries including oil and gas, process industries, nuclear, and rail. Through its 100% subsidiary Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA), it is also a major vendor of management system quality certification to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS18001.

Triton Emission Solutions will continue updating the public on the PST-DSOX-15 project as it progresses through testing to certification.
