Boca Raton, Florida, Sept. 13, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Triton Emission Solutions Inc. (SHPR) (the “Company”) announced today, that effective September 9, 2013, Rasmus Norling resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer and was appointed as Chief Technical Officer of the Company.

On September 9, 2013, the board of directors of the Company appointed Brad Eckenweiler, James Pakulis and Jeffrey Buczek as directors. In addition, Brad Eckenweiler was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, James Pakulis as President and Jeffrey Buczek as Vice President of Engineering. .

Brad Eckenweiler, age 59, is an executive with worldwide business experience in operations, corporate finance, multi-border negotiations and global securities markets. Mr. Eckenweiler brings to the Company his innovative perspective on business strategies with extensive experience in defining opportunities, creating effective corporate operational teams and designing unique marketing solutions both in the United States and overseas.

James Pakulis, age 50, has three decades of experience working with entrepreneurial companies in a variety of emerging and high-growth sectors including internet, finance, real estate, and health care. He has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate management for both public and private enterprises, including strategy development and execution, operations, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, finance/accounting, legal and human resources.

Jeffrey Buczek, age 46, joins the Company after being employed since May 2011 as a Research and Development Engineer and Engineering Project Planner in Global Marine Technical Services for Royal Caribbean International, Ltd. During his employment at Royal Caribbean Mr. Buczek managed and coordinated various aspects of new R&D projects from planning, installation and testing through to commissioning and class approval.
